Downtown Farmers Market

The Downtown Farmers Market of Ypsilanti is open on Tuesday, from 2:00 p.m. ‘til 6 p.m. The market was started in 2006 in the Key Bank Building parking lot at Hamilton and Ferris Streets (one block south of Michigan Ave. and Hamilton). The market offers fresh fruits, vegetables, plants, flowers, meats, bread and baked goods plus craft items.

Crossroads Summer Music Festival
When: June 4 - August 20: Each Friday Night starting at 7:00 p.m.
Where: Washington Street at Michigan Ave. in Downtown Ypsilanti

The festival is free fun for the whole family. In the event of rain it moves indoors to 23 N. Washington, Club Divine. There will be a special concert on Aug 21st in conjunction with the Heritage Festival. Each Friday will be a different group of musicians to play for your enjoyment.

Depot Town Cruise Nights
When: June 10 - September: Each Thursday night starting at 6:00 p.m. (barring rain) Where: East Cross Street in Depot Town

This event is free fun for the whole family. There will be classic cars, a D.J. spinning classic tunes and a hula-hoop contest with great prizes.

MetroPark Bicycle Rides

Where: Starts at: Farmer's Market at East Cross Street in Depot Town

MetroPark bicycle rides on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m. Meet at the Depot Town Farmer’s Market East Cross and Rice St. and ride to one of the Huron-Clinton MetroParks.

Weekly Sunday Bicycle Rides
When: Beginning June 20 at 1:00 p.m.
Where: Recreation Park 1015 Congress, Ypsilanti

Our weekly group ride lasts for one to two hours, depending on who is riding and where they vote to go. Pace is also determined by who shows up. Open to all levels of riders.

Now in its 32nd year, highlights of the Ypsilanti Heritage Festival include arts and crafts, children's activities, historic architecture, Beer & Gaming, music, autos & engines and lots of food. The festival spans Riverside and Frog Island parks, and E. Cross Street in Depot Town.


Michigan Firehouse Museum Fire Truck Muster
When: August 28 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

A gathering of fire trucks, owners and enthusiasts who have fun displaying their fire engines, sharing their experiences and expertise with others. The diverse collection of fire rigs will range in age from the 1920’s through the late 1970’s. Some of them are in original running condition and others have been beautifully restored. This will occur in Riverside Park in Ypsilanti. The park is within walking distance of the Michigan Firehouse Museum and borders the Huron River. Free and open to the public. The Museum will be open during the entire event.

Antique Truck Show
